I might not have the same requests as this mom, but I do like the idea of a letter to the birth team spelling out how they can best be helpful to you at your birth.

I have seen this at all but one of the births I’ve attended this year! It was practically unheard of when I started attending births, but it is becoming more common and more families are choosing to have a parent catch the baby.
